Canadian LGBTQ+ publication brings the HomoCulture Tour to Thunder Bay this summer
We’re packing our bags, charging the camera batteries, and heading north—because the HomoCulture Tour is coming to Thunder Pride! As one of North America’s top LGBTQ+ lifestyle and travel publications, we’re absolutely thrilled to be an official media sponsor of this year’s celebration in Thunder Bay. With a special focus on Canadian Pride festivals in 2025, we’ve made it our mission to show up for our home turf—and Thunder Pride was on our list of Pride events we wanted to be at.
HomoCulture is proudly Canadian, and this year, we’re doubling down on our roots. With growing uncertainty south of the border—including the threat of new tariffs and becoming the ‘51st State’—we’re choosing to support and celebrate right here at home. With the incredible support of Visit Thunder Bay, we’re excited to highlight the local LGBTQ+ stories, voices, and vibrant queer community that make this Pride celebration one-of-a-kind.
You’ll see us out and about all weekend long, snapping pics, making new friends, and soaking up everything Thunder Pride has to offer. HomoCulture’s founder, Brian Webb, will be on the ground to personally cover the event, capture the best moments from the parade, and share what makes Thunder Bay a must-visit destination for LGBTQ+ travellers. And yes—come say hi at the Thunder Pride Parade on Saturday, July 5 where we’ll be handing out HomoCulture ONE Condoms with a wink and a smile. Pride is about being out, proud, and prepared.
We believe Pride is more than a party—though we love a good one! It’s about showing up, speaking out, and supporting each other. That’s why this stop on the HomoCulture Tour is so meaningful to us. We’re not just here to wave a flag and snap a few pics—we’re here to learn, listen, and amplify what makes Thunder Bay’s LGBTQ+ community shine.
